the title I will be doing a new ring

light review today for you guys and the

reason why I've decided to do this

review is because I saw so many

different great reviews about the newer

ring light on Amazon and also saw a few

bad ones but I mean that kind of is

gonna happen regardless but if you ask

me the ring light itself was fairly

affordable I got the 18 inch and it was

about 109 dollars but I believe I used

one of the discount codes or something

like that because I am an Amazon Prime

member so I think I got it for like 89

or 82 dollars if I'm not mistaken but

either way I felt like that was very

affordable for my financial situation

right now and the ring light itself is

great I wish I would have waited

actually to do the unboxing because I

know you guys like to see unboxing I

like to see in boxing myself but I did

it because I was just so eager to get

this ball rolling with this ring way and

get it set up and everything like that

it completely slipped my mind so I'm so

so so sorry for that right now I am not

using the ring light I'm actually just

using the natural light in previous

videos guys I've been sitting in front

of this big window in this room it's

pretty much a great amount of light as

you can see like everything looks great

but the only downside to that is that as

I am busy throughout the day and I can't

record from like let's say Sun up to

like 7 o'clock or 8 o'clock when the Sun

is going down then I pretty much get

pushed back to the next day and so forth

and so on it's just that is such a

hassle when you have a ring light you're

able to record at any time in the day

and it could it could definitely how do

I say this it definitely makes you more

excited about recording videos at least

that's what is it for me it made me more

excited about recording videos because I

hate it that I would have to put myself

on a schedule like okay if I don't

record from this time to this time then

I'm just not important today that's just

what's going to happen I'm gonna go

ahead and show you guys what it looks

like I kind of put it back in the little

baggie that came and it came in a bag

like this I'm gonna show you the ring

light itself the bag the accessories

that it came with so if you're

interested in seeing it keep watching so

the ring light itself does come in a big

bag like this it actually doesn't come

inside of it but it comes with the bag

um and it has its handles and it has

this um strap you know are they sure

what it's for I guess it's adjustable

you can put it over your shoulder so I

went ahead and put my green light the

actual light inside of this and I'm

going to show you that in a second

it also came with this and it's a stand

I got the one with the stand so um yeah

the order to setup the stand what you

would do is you would just fold it out

like that very simple very easy a way

that you could get it to be really

steady I think you close this this

little this little piece right here you

tighten it lefty loosey righty tighty

it's going to look like this on the

floor and I'm going to show you a full

view of it when I get everything set up

but basically it's gonna look like this

and then you just place it there on

floor make sure that's hanging and then

you're good to go

what you can do is you can also adjust

these the height of the actual stand by

taking the twisty things those are our

columns the twisty things and you

basically just um loosen it and pull it

up and then we'll use this

to pull this one up like that so this is

my skin super duper sturdy and yeah

Sunday I'm done blowing my bag that my

ring light is in the bag was actually

made specifically for the ring way it's

big enough to fit the whole ring light

plus I put the cords and everything in

there too so I don't lose it I don't put

the stands in there per se just because

it's very bulky to me when you fold it

up and I don't want it to like scratch

up stuff in there and I'm just very anal

about stuff like that so I just will

carry the stands by itself the ring

light comes with detachable filters they

come off and thanks that Mac one I just

snap all of those in place once again

very self-explanatory

they have like one two three four little

filter areas that you can snap it onto

they also have these colored filters I

didn't even open them yet I guess if you

want to have a more orangish or like

like a sunny sort of look I'm not really

sure but I just go with the white oh my

god they do have another filter that you

can switch it to in case you did want to

use the other filter this part actually

kind of separate this part that you

twist on so basically what I did is I

put it on there before this video

because I just wanted to show you guys

what it would look like this is where

you would place your camera it's also an

instruction how you screw it off and

square it back one it's very easy once

again everything in this review is

pretty much self-explanatory but I just

wanted to show you the ring light itself

but yeah so you can put your camera here

my thing is me personally I am NOT going

to do that because I love this care

and I guard it with my life I would hate

for it to fall not to say that this

isn't sturdy but I don't know for a fact

on my tripod is sturdy and it works just

as good if you put your tripod behind or

in front of the ring light so yeah I

personally choose not to you can that's

what it's there for

I guess I'm assuming it serves its

purpose and you could also move it

around in there whatever so how do you

attach this bring light to the sand this

is actually very tricky for me because

if something don't click or whatever or

I'll hear nothing that goes or whatever

I'm gonna think it didn't work so with

base it doesn't work like that you have

to screw everything in in everything to

secure it and tighten it and all that

kind of stuff so I'm gonna bring this a

little bit closer so you guys could see

um basically what you would do is you

take the ring light itself and it has

these adjustable things like right here

that you can screw off and screw on so

take the top will take the bottom one

you take the bottom one and you screw it

out just a little bit so when you place

it on top of the sand it has room I'm

gonna go ahead and I'm gonna tighten it

and then once you tighten it it's going

to be sturdy so the top part that you

screw I have to screw down a little bit

so now this part is what's the loose so

in order to keep this dirty what you

would have to do is you would have to

screw this tighter and now this is set

in place and it's not going anywhere



and now you have your ring light so

right now my ring light is actually

kind of tall too tall for my camera I

guess they made it completely wrong but

that's fine because you could just

adjust it so I'm gonna actually adjust

this to a shorter stance so maybe like

right here would make a lot of sense

yeah so I cannot go through here and yes

it comes with a couple of chords but

this is the chord that you actually use

to connect it and basically it's very

easy you just take this this chord right

here plug it into this and we're gonna

plug this into an outlet I'll use the

outlet right here and voila

it's dimmable so you have this one which

is pretty dim and then you have these it

goes lighter lighter and lighter and

brighter and brighter and brighter and I

can see now I'm gonna actually show you

the light with me on the other side of

it so you can see how it look when you

decided to film once again this is the

18 inch and I'm so glad I got the 18

inch and off the 14 inch or I think we

have a 12 inch I'm glad I got this one

because go big or go home so hey guys I

went ahead and I changed my positioning

so you can see what it would look like

if I changed from in front of the window

to not in front of the window and as you

can see it's really really dark and you

really can't see like dimensions on my

face you can't see really what's going

on and it's just not the support quality

I want to show you guys how the Neewer Ring

light makes all the difference and you

see naturally how I would look without

it and I want you guys to see how it

would look with it I'm running it up

however you want I'm probably going to

use a little brighter setting so that um

you can see me and you can see the

pictures these beautiful pictures that I

did at painting with the toy

I'm gonna go ahead and do that for you

so you can see as you see that made all

the difference so me just doing that and

I think I'm not on the highest setting

I'm almost to die setting but it

definitely made all the difference and

you can definitely see how it brightens

up my face you can see the dimensions in

my face you can see the pictures you can

see everything everything looks great

you can see the color of my shirt and it

definitely makes all the difference so

regardless of whether it is dead

nighttime Sun is going down whatever as

long as you have a ring light you could

pretty much thumb at whatever time in

the day and it'll work perfectly so guys

recommend this ring light I got the 18

inch once again and there are those

options of the 14 and the 12 inch

cost efficient for you and your

lifestyle
